I feel like summer should be more than it is right now. I hate the film industry sometimes because they lie. They lie when they tell us summer heralds the beginning of some epic fun times adventure. That only happens if you a) have money or b) have friends who have money or c) live in a place that isn't tiny. So, what do you do? Mope? Find pleasure in the little moments in life?
Or go with option C? Make your summer a cheesy 80s frat movie? I'm going for option C. I'm not practicing over the summer. I'm not going to focus on show choir. I'm going to save that for the fall. This summer will be all about fun and so I'll work and be the best employee ever. But I'm going to party. I'm going to road trip. I'm going to do something to make this summer more memorable than they have been in the past.
Plus, my niece just went to camp and I have an excuse to be as bad as I want to be. So, hells yeah. Guess who can be irresponsible now?
